An electronic service aimed at simplifying the process of returning cars from the impound lot is planned to be introduced in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
From now on, obtaining a permit will be done online, which will help eliminate bureaucratic obstacles. The relevant draft decision has already been announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is expected that by July 31, 2025, this service will be available through several channels. In particular, it will be accessible via the unified state interactive services portal, state service centers, and the mobile application of the Road Traffic Safety Service.
At the same time, individuals and legal entities will retain the option to apply in the traditional manner, that is, orally or in writing. To successfully implement this innovation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Technologies will complete the integration of all necessary information systems by July 20, 2025.
Additionally, an administrative regulation detailing the procedure for submitting and reviewing applications will be approved. This will contribute to improving the quality of service delivery.
