A new enemy appears in the 'Spider-Man' movie

Marvel Studios and the creators of the film “Spider-Man: New Day” have presented unexpected news for fans of the Marvel cinematic universe. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In the new film, a new antagonist — a terrifying enemy named “Gorkov” — will appear. This role will be played by actor Mavrin Jones III.

He previously voiced this character in the animated film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” In the comics, “Gorkov” is known as one of the leaders of New York’s criminal underworld and is in constant rivalry with Peter Parker.

Additionally, he also appears in the animated film “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe.” Production of the new film began in August 2025.

The main roles will be reprised by Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Zendaya (Mary Jane), and Jacob Batalon (Ned). Also, rumors are circulating online about who might play the role of the “Green Goblin.”

Furthermore, there is discussion that Mark Ruffalo may appear as Hulk in a more dangerous form. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

The screenplay is written by experienced writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on July 31, 2026.
