The singer and actress announced that they officially divorced in the spring of 2024. In an interview with CBS News Sunday, she said that the difficulties in her personal life also affected her work on the film “Spider-Man’s Kiss.”
In this film, Ben Affleck and his close friend Matt Damon participated as executive producers. Lopez spoke about her feelings: “While playing the role, I felt happy, but when I came home, those feelings disappeared.
I just kept thinking, ‘How do I get out of this?’” The artist emphasized that all the difficulties gave her strength. She said she feels free and happy.

Interestingly, the document was submitted on August 20 — exactly two years after their wedding day. Court documents recorded the official divorce date as April 26, 2024.
Lopez asked the court to deny any financial support from her ex-husband and did not request such assistance. It is worth recalling that the couple met in 2002 and married, but divorced in 2004.
They reunited in 2021 and officially married again in April 2022. This was Lopez’s fourth and Affleck’s second marriage.
The singer has a son and a daughter from Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three children with Jennifer Garner.
