Jackie Chan to film "God of War 4" in Kazakhstan

Famous Hollywood actor Jackie Chan is preparing to shoot a new installment of the legendary “Armor of God” film series. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Kazakhstan's Salem Entertainment studio, the actor will create the fourth part of the “Armor of God” franchise specifically in Kazakhstan. At the end of September, Jackie Chan visited Almaty to select filming locations for the new movie — “Armor of God: Ultimatum.”

The studio's statement says that millions of viewers' favorite cult film's new part will be shot in Kazakhstan. The main filming will take place within the country, but no additional information about the script and production process has been provided yet.

The first part of the “Armor of God” franchise was released in 1986, the second in 1991, and the third in 2012. In these projects, Jackie Chan not only played the lead role but also actively participated as a director.

Additionally, earlier this spring, he announced the possibility of participating in the sequel to the comedy “Rush Hour.”
