The finale of the second part of the series titled “Lixiy” caused dissatisfaction among viewers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On the Kino-Teatr.RU forum, users described the final episode as illogical, emotionless, and confusing. According to the data, the rating of “Lixiy-2” dropped from 6.2 to 5.6.
Throughout the story, one of the main characters, Slon, attempts suicide, leading the Komsomol thieves to declare Krab a traitor. Krab finds himself in a complicated situation and is forced to cooperate with the investigation.
The Lixovtsevs try to hide, but this attempt ends unsuccessfully. For them, prison, betrayal by close ones, and a bloody ending on the island seem to be prepared.
According to viewers, major events such as the arrest of the Lixovtsevs, the court process, and the disintegration of the “Obshak” were portrayed very superficially. Some viewers considered the modern storyline excessive and wished for more emphasis on the 1990s environment.
Additionally, the fact that Shapiro and the corrupt policeman guilty of other crimes were not punished caused dissatisfaction among many. Users found the final episode incomplete and emphasized that the expected moral conclusion was not delivered.
Logical gaps in the plot and unexplored characters were also criticized. For example, it was said that Karmazov and Ilyos had no impact on the story.
“Even if you remove them completely, the plot would not change at all,” wrote one user. At the same time, despite many criticisms of the script, the directing and acting skills were positively evaluated.
Especially, the performances of Evgeniy Golubev and Artem Bistrov were highly praised by viewers. The 1990s atmosphere and the humane scenes in the finale, such as the hero returning his son to his mother, were also well received.
However, some viewers expressed harsh opinions about the final episode. A user with the nickname Neo Kineskop wrote: “The finale is illogical and unconvincing.
Although it is said to be ‘based on real events,’ everything seems fake.” It is worth noting that the first part of the series was released in 2023 and was warmly received, but according to many, the second part did not reach the original level.
