The 10th European Film Festival is scheduled to take place in Tashkent from November 7 to 9, 2023, and in Termez on November 12. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of this festival, 12 films from European Union member states will be shown free of charge. These films will be presented in their original languages with Uzbek and Russian subtitles.
The festival is organized with the support of the embassies of European countries and the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency. The program includes lyrical dramas, inspiring stories, and films of various other genres.
Additionally, short amateur films on the theme "Generations" will also be screened. This special program is implemented with the support of the French Alliance and the Goethe Institute.
The cultural part of the festival will be further enriched by performances from the Spanish dance group Aire Nuevo Danza. The European Film Festival was first held in Uzbekistan in 2013 and has since become an important tradition for cultural exchange and cooperation.
This festival provides an opportunity to get acquainted closely with European culture in our country.
