On November 16, the second season of the “Landmen” series was released on the Paramount+ platform. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The premiere was watched 9.2 million times within just 48 hours, achieving one of the platform's most successful launch figures. Interest in the series has tripled compared to last year's debut.
The new season's events, created by Taylor Sheridan, continue in West Texas, where the oil industry remains the main source of livelihood. The main characters – Tommy Norris and Kami Miller – are forced to manage a large oil company.
Their partnership develops based on pragmatic decisions, risks, and interdependence. The cast includes well-known actors such as Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Sam Elliott.
Throughout the plot, while Tommy tries to save the company, complexities in his personal life also come to light. His son begins drilling operations, and his daughter faces the harsh realities of the business.
Old family issues gradually emerge as well. The first season was watched 35 million times and, according to Paramount Global data, achieved great success.
“Landmen” is among internationally popular series such as "Tulsa King" and "Sher". The second season was filmed in Fort Worth, Texas, in regions where the real oil industry is developed.
Many scenes were shot at active production facilities. The first episode of the series was released on November 16, with the remaining episodes being published every Sunday until January 18, 2026.
A total of 10 episodes have been prepared, which are available exclusively for viewing on the Paramount+ platform.
