This visit was made within the framework of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) year-end award ceremony, held for the first time in Central Asia. Charles Leclerc was welcomed at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov by Otabek Umarov, the first deputy chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
The famous driver is among the teams and athletes awarded by the FIA and will participate in this prestigious event together with leading experts in the world of motorsport. It is noted that the ceremony, held on December 12 in Tashkent, holds significant importance for the development of motorsport in Central Asia.
Within the event, prominent representatives of motorsport, leading teams, and athletes will gather in one place. This not only serves to increase attention to motorsport regionally but also internationally.
