Artists festival will be held in Fergana in 2026

A special festival for artists and photographers is planned to be organized in Uzbekistan in May 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The event will be hosted by the city of Bobur in the Fergana region. The decision to hold this festival was announced by the Ministry of Justice.

The festival will be held once every two years, and winners will be awarded valuable prizes. The winning participants will receive a Chevrolet Onix car as a Presidential gift, a diploma, a commemorative statuette, and a cash prize.

Candidates wishing to participate in the festival must submit their documents by February 1, 2026. The organizers require an application form (resume), three color photographs sized 6×9, proof of work experience, and documents confirming participation in previous exhibitions or festivals.

Additionally, candidates must attach at least ten photographs of their works and video material reflecting the creative process. The organizing committee will compile the list of participants by April 1 and notify those accepted to the festival.

The festival aims to support creatives and contribute to the development of art.
