The second part of the "Formula 1" film is being shot

There is good news for fans of the “Formula 1” film — the second part of this film is planned to be shot. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by producer Jerry Bruckheimer in an interview with the “BBC.” According to the producer, work on the project is underway, but no specific timeline or cast information has been provided yet.
Also, it remains unknown whether Brad Pitt, who played the main character in the first part of the film, will participate in the new installment. Bruckheimer emphasized, “We are working on continuing the film.”
Initial rumors about the sequel appeared in the fall of 2025. Director Joseph Kosinski has also expressed his desire to continue this project.
Last November, he announced that the creative team was in the research phase. It is worth noting that the “Formula 1” film achieved great success on the Apple TV platform and surpassed Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” and Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” in terms of revenue.
According to the film’s plot, the main character Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) is a former “Formula 1” racer who leaves the sport after a serious accident. Years later, he returns to the track to coach a young and talented racer Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris).
This interesting story is expected to continue.
