Gorillaz presented their new short animated film

The full title of the animated film is "The Mountain, The Moon Cave, and the Melancholy God," in which the members of Gorillaz go to the forest and the walk turns into a terrifying adventure. The premiere of this animated film is scheduled to take place on YouTube on February 27.

This short film is inspired by Indian culture and is related to The Mountain group's new album. The ninth studio album is expected to be released on March 20, 2026.

The Gorillaz group is a British virtual band formed in 1998 by Blur vocalist Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett. Their work and projects are often innovative and unique in style, gaining wide popularity.
