The President solemnly congratulated Farruh Zokirov on his 80th birthday anniversary
Farrukh Zokirov, the founder of the famous Yalla group who has made a huge contribution to the development of Uzbekistan's art and culture, has celebrated his 80th birthday. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On the occasion of this day of gratitude, a solemn event was organized at the Koksaroy residence with the participation of the head of state. During the ceremony, the artist's creative path and services to the culture of our country were highly recognized.
During the event, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke and sincerely congratulated the jubilee celebrant. The head of state wished Farrukh Zokirov strong health and creative inspiration.
At the same time, his dedication to promoting our art in the international arena was specifically emphasized. Many creative intellectuals, representatives of art, and active members of society participated in the ceremony.
Farrukh Zokirov is considered a recognized pride not only of Uzbekistan but of the entire Central Asian region and the Turkic world. As proof of this, it can be mentioned that the artist has been awarded the title of People's Artist by many states.
In addition to Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, he has received the titles of People's Artist from countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, as well as Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and Ingushetia. Such wide-scale recognition is a rare occurrence in world art.
The many years of hard work by loyal members Javlon To'xtayev, Abbos Aliyev, Temur Xalikov, and Igor Xalikov, who stood behind the successes of the Yalla ensemble, were also highly appreciated. Their activity in a team spirit played an important role in the group's emergence on the world stage.
As another example of the respect shown to the artist by the state, Children's Music and Art School No. 7 in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent has been named after Farrukh Zokirov. From now on, representatives of the younger generation will study the secrets of art at this institution with inspiration associated with the name of the legendary master.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Order for Great Services to Farrukh Zokirov. This high award is a worthy recognition of incomparable services in introducing our national culture to the world.
