Javohir Sindorov became the Candidates Tournament champion and was congratulated

Following the conclusion of the 13th round of the competition, Uzbek chess player Javohir Sindorov emerged victorious and secured the championship. Kazakh athlete Bibisora Assubayeva sincerely congratulated her colleague on this achievement.
Bibisora Assubayeva also responded to a frequently asked question from fans regarding their personal relationship. She noted that she met Javohir five years ago and that they have supported each other's achievements and grown together during this time.
The chess player stated that Javohir is one of the kindest people in the world and fully deserved this victory. It is worth noting that previously, Javohir Sindorov's grandmother had also expressed her views on the relationship between the young pair.
She stated that family members would be supportive of such a decision if the youth so desired. According to the tournament results, Javohir Sindorov officially secured the championship before the final round.
The athlete climbed to the top of the table, scoring 9.5 points at the end of the 13th round. Bibisora Assubayeva is competing for the title in the Women's Candidates Tournament with 7.5 points.
The final rounds of the competition will take place on Wednesday, April 15. In the final stage, Bibisora Assubayeva will face India's Divya Deshmukh, and Javohir Sindorov will compete against China's Wei Yi.
