The average salaries in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan were compared

Experts analyzed how the salaries of Kazakhstani citizens differ from the average incomes of the populations in countries like Russia, Uzbekistan, and Germany, reports Ulysmedia.kz.

According to Numbeo, the average monthly salary after taxes in Kazakhstan is 289,500 tenge ($574.7). Compared to neighboring countries, salaries are higher in Russia at 334,700 tenge ($665.2), and in China at 469,200 tenge ($931.4). In Uzbekistan, citizens earn an average of 237,900 tenge ($472.6) per month, while in Kyrgyzstan this figure is 196,700 tenge ($390.5).

Looking at other countries, for example, the average monthly salary in Germany reaches 1.5 million tenge ($3,000), in Australia — 1.7 million tenge ($3,500), and in the USA — 2.1 million tenge ($4,300).
