
The Jiangsu World Group corporation of China plans to invest 95 million dollars to establish automated enterprises for cotton cultivation and processing in the Surkhandarya region, as reported by Kursiv Media.
As part of the project, cotton cultivation, harvesting, and fiber processing will be carried out on an area of 20,000 hectares. During a meeting between the Chinese delegation and the regional governor Ulugbek Qosimov, issues related to developing the project's technical and economic foundations and selecting the appropriate land plots were discussed.
Jiangsu World Group specializes in the production of agricultural and construction machinery, with its products being supplied to agricultural enterprises in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
