Foreign currency exchange rates declined: Central Bank statement

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of February 17, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this information, the US dollar decreased by 29.68 soums, reaching 12,191.30 soums. The euro currency also fell by 30.32 soums, amounting to 14,464.98 soums.
The Russian ruble exchange rate increased by 0.13 soums, reaching 158.51 soums. The British pound sterling decreased by 13.61 soums, equaling 16,635.03 soums.
The Japanese yen decreased by 0.23 soums, reaching 79.38 soums. The Swiss franc value dropped by 36.50 soums, amounting to 15,841.09 soums.
The Chinese yuan also decreased by 4.30 soums, equaling 1,764.63 soums. Thus, it can be observed that most foreign currencies have depreciated.
These rates are set by the Central Bank and are official.
