The Central Bank announced changes in currency exchange rates
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates effective from February 24, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to this information, the rates of the US dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, Swiss franc, and Chinese yuan have increased, while the Russian ruble has slightly decreased. Below are the new rates for the main currencies: - US dollar (USD) — 12,236.13 UZS (+23.34 UZS); - Euro (EUR) — 14,439.86 UZS (+28.77 UZS); - Russian ruble (RUB) — 159.10 UZS (–0.42 UZS); - British pound (GBP) — 16,529.79 UZS (+36.42 UZS); - Japanese yen (JPY) — 79.04 UZS (+0.15 UZS); - Swiss franc (CHF) — 15,802.83 UZS (+7.71 UZS); - Chinese yuan (CNY) — 1,771.12 UZS (+3.38 UZS).

These rates are set by the Central Bank and will be effective from February 24. Changes in currency exchange rates depend on the economic conditions in domestic and foreign markets and are regularly updated.
