The Central Bank announced changes in exchange rates

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of March 2, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to it, the US dollar increased by 35.61 soums, reaching 12,172.18 soums. The euro appreciated by 38.36 soums, reaching 14,357.09 soums.
The Russian ruble decreased by 0.25 soums, amounting to 157.45 soums. The British pound sterling fell by 4.17 soums, becoming 16,414.18 soums.
The Japanese yen rose by 0.23 soums, reaching 77.99 soums, while the Swiss franc increased by 66.36 soums, totaling 15,746.68 soums. The Chinese yuan also rose by 0.82 soums, equaling 1,774.84 soums.
These rates are set by the Central Bank and are used in official calculations. Changes in currency exchange rates depend on internal and external economic factors and are formed in accordance with market supply and demand.
