Changes in Uzbekistan currency exchange rates announced

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official currency exchange rates effective from February 24, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this information, several foreign currencies have appreciated, while some have slightly depreciated. In particular, the US dollar rose to 12,236.13 soms, an increase of 23.34 soms.
The euro also appreciated, reaching 14,439.86 soms, up by 28.77 soms. The British pound sterling rose to 16,529.79 soms, appreciating by 36.42 soms.
The Japanese yen also slightly appreciated, reaching 79.04 soms, an increase of 0.15 soms. The Swiss franc rose to 15,802.83 soms, increasing by 7.71 soms.
The Chinese yuan also reached 1,771.12 soms, up by 3.38 soms. At the same time, the Russian ruble slightly depreciated, falling to 159.10 soms, down by 0.42 soms.
These changes may have various impacts on the domestic market and international trade. Such dynamics in currency exchange rates could potentially affect the economy.
