Dollar rate increased in Uzbekistan, euro became cheaper

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies for February 20, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to these rates, the US dollar increased by 36.93 soums, reaching 12,169.41 soums. The euro decreased by 0.10 soums, becoming 14,359.90 soums.
The Russian ruble decreased by 0.14 soums, reaching 158.95 soums. The British pound sterling decreased by 35.05 soums, amounting to 16,434.79 soums.
The Japanese yen fell by 0.31 soums, equaling 78.61 soums. The Swiss franc increased by 13.19 soums, reaching 15,739.02 soums.
The Chinese yuan rose by 5.34 soums, totaling 1,761.46 soums. These rates affect economic changes and play an important role in international trade.
Changes in currency exchange rates can impact the national economy; therefore, these changes should be the focus of public attention. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan takes into account the situation in the international market when setting these rates.
