Dollar and euro exchange rates fell in Uzbekistan

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for February 18, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this information, the value of the dollar decreased by 53.44 soms, reaching 12,137.86 soms. Likewise, the euro also decreased by 85.26 soms, amounting to 14,379.72 soms.
The Russian ruble decreased by 0.38 soms, reaching 158.13 soms. The value of the British pound sterling decreased by 137.25 soms, equaling 16,497.78 soms.
The Japanese yen remained unchanged at 79.38 soms. The Swiss franc decreased by 61.24 soms, amounting to 15,779.85 soms.
The Chinese yuan decreased by 7.74 soms, equaling 1,756.89 soms. These changes may affect Uzbekistan's economic situation.
Such changes in currency exchange rates usually have a significant impact on international trade and local markets. Therefore, these rates are important for economic processes and future planning.
