The Central Bank announced changes in exchange rates

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced new values of foreign currencies against the Uzbek som. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Starting from March 6, 2026, a decline is observed in the exchange rates of major foreign currencies. In particular, the US dollar rate has consecutively decreased, reaching 12,175.53 soms, which means it has become 4.28 soms cheaper compared to the previous rate.
The Russian ruble also declined, falling to 155.08 soms. The European currency, however, strengthened, with the euro rate increasing by 12.08 soms to reach 14,151.62 soms.
The Swiss franc showed the largest increase, appreciating by 82.32 soms to reach 15,629.69 soms. Additionally, the British pound was set at 16,260.42 soms, the Chinese yuan at 1,766.59 soms, and the Japanese yen at 77.47 soms.
These financial changes have been formed based on supply and demand in the domestic market.
