According to the results of our weekly analysis based on the exchange rates announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the first working week of March 2026, 1 US dollar increased by 38.96 soms against our national currency — the som. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The weekly dynamics are as follows: on Monday, the rate increased by 35.61 soms, and on Tuesday it rose by 18.39 soms. On Wednesday, it increased by 19.29 soms, while on Thursday it decreased by 30.05 soms.

On Friday, the rate decreased by 4.28 soms. The Central Bank forms exchange rates based on market principles and strives to ensure stability in economic processes.

Such fluctuations in the exchange rate are one of the important indicators of the global economic environment, foreign trade volume, and domestic economic activity. These changes can affect the economic situation.
