Currency exchange rate increase according to Central Bank data

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies for March 2, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Accordingly, the US dollar increased by 35.61 soums, reaching a value of 12,172.18 soums. The euro rose by 38.36 soums, amounting to 14,357.09 soums.
The Russian ruble, however, decreased by 0.25 soums, becoming 157.45 soums. The British pound fell by 4.17 soums, remaining at a value of 16,414.18 soums.
The Japanese yen increased by 0.23 soums, reaching 77.99 soums. The Swiss franc rose by 66.36 soums, totaling 15,746.68 soums.
The Chinese yuan also increased by 0.82 soums, rising to a value of 1,774.84 soums. These rates are accepted as the official indicators of currency exchange in Uzbekistan's domestic market and serve as the basis for financial operations.
The Central Bank's announcements are of significant importance in monitoring changes in exchange rates. Since fluctuations in currency rates can impact the economy, this information is carefully studied by commercial banks and financial institutions.
