The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies on its website for February 27, 2026. Zamin.uz reported this news.
These figures represent crucial prices in the country's economy, and every change holds particular significance for both the population and entrepreneurs. According to the bank's announcement, a slight decline was observed in the US dollar rate.
The dollar price decreased by nearly half a sum compared to previous days, now set at 12,136 sums and 57 tiyns. This situation demonstrates the effectiveness of measures aimed at ensuring stability in the local market.
The euro, the currency of the European Union, maintained its upward trend. The euro rate increased by 11 sums and 52 tiyns, reaching the mark of 14,318 sums and 73 tiyns.
The Russian ruble also experienced changes, with its price dropping by 0 sums and 83 tiyns to stabilize around 157 sums and 70 tiyns. The British pound sterling also appreciated, rising to the level of 16,418 sums and 35 tiyns.
The Japanese yen increased by 0 sums and 24 tiyns, amounting to 77 sums and 76 tiyns. The Swiss franc also raised its price by 1 sum and 34 tiyns, reaching a value of 15,680 sums and 32 tiyns.
The Chinese yuan appreciated by 6 sums and 98 tiyns, totaling 1,774 sums and 02 tiyns. These rates will serve as the basis for conducting trade and financial operations in the coming days.
