The Central Bank announced new official exchange rates for foreign currencies

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for April 9, 2026. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to the updated data, the rates of major currencies showed significant changes, and the value of most currencies increased. In particular, the rate of the United States dollar rose by 20.5 soums, reaching 12,228.58 soums.
The Euro also continued its growth trend, rising by 166.78 soums to a final value of 14,282.98 soums. Among other foreign currencies, the British pound sterling recorded the highest increase.
The pound's rate rose by 221.63 soums, reaching 16,416.87 soums. Additionally, the value of the Swiss franc increased by 211.98 soums to 15,498.83 soums.
The Russian ruble and Chinese yuan also became more expensive. The ruble's rate rose by 0.96 soums to 155.96 soums, while the yuan's value increased by 10.09 soums, reaching 1,790.37 soums.
The Japanese yen rose by 0.69 soums, reaching 77.16 soums. These changes will affect the financial market conditions in the country and international currency exchange operations.
These rates, regularly announced by the Central Bank, serve as a primary guide for entrepreneurs and the population.
