The volume and value of chocolate imports to Uzbekistan have been announced

The volume of chocolate product imports to Uzbekistan in January and February 2026 has been announced. According to data provided by the National Statistics Committee, in the first two months of the year a total of about 6.6 thousand tonnes of chocolate were imported into the country from 34 states. The total value of these goods amounted to 27.7 million US dollars.
Statistical indicators show that during this period of the current year chocolate imports decreased by 1.1 thousand tonnes compared to the same period last year. This trend may be linked to changes in the market or to the expansion of local production.
Among the chocolate-supplying countries, Russia has retained its leadership. A total of 4,407 tonnes of chocolate products were imported from Russia to Uzbekistan. It is followed by Ukraine with 607 tonnes, Turkmenistan with 209.1 tonnes and Kazakhstan with 201.8 tonnes of products. In addition, Turkey exported 190.7 tonnes, and Poland — 124.4 tonnes of chocolate. The remaining 825.9 tonnes of products came from other foreign states.
These figures reflect the demand for foreign products in the confectionery market of our country and the ties with its main trading partners.
