US Dollar Exchange Rate Expected to Decrease Further in Uzbekistan

The value of the US dollar against the national currency continues to decline in the foreign exchange market of Uzbekistan, according to Zamin.uz. Latest data shows another decrease in the dollar rate within the financial market.
Based on expert analytical forecasts, the downward trend is expected to persist in the official exchange rate effective April 21, 2026. According to projected changes, the value of the foreign currency may drop by an average of 28-29 soums.
Currently, commercial banks in the country offer various exchange rates for the public and entrepreneurs. Specifically, the highest and most favorable rates for citizens wishing to sell dollars have been recorded at several banks.
Financial institutions such as MKbank, Universalbank, and BRB are accepting the dollar at 12,100 soums. Similarly, at Garantbank, the exchange rate is close to this figure, set at 12,095 soums.
For customers looking to purchase foreign currency, the lowest rates are observed at institutions like Octobank, Anorbank, and Orient Finans Bank. In these banks, the purchase price ranges between 12,130 and 12,140 soums.
At Asakabank, this figure stands at 12,150 soums. It should be noted that exchange rates may fluctuate throughout the day due to market volatility and internal bank policies.
Therefore, it is recommended to double-check current rates via the chosen bank's official website or mobile application before performing exchange operations. This will ensure that funds are exchanged under the most favorable conditions.
