Pensions and salaries will be increased in Uzbekistan from July 1
Starting from July 1, 2025, it is reported that pensions, allowances, salaries, and scholarships will be increased in Uzbekistan, according to UPL.uz. The decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev aims to strengthen the social protection of the population.

From July 1, all types of pensions and allowances will be increased by an average of 10%. In particular:
• minimum old-age pension — 918,000 soums,
• minimum disability pension — 1,012,000 soums,
• material assistance for low-income families — 420,000 soums.

The decree pays special attention to families with children:
• for a child aged 0–3 years — 360,000 soums,
• for a child aged 3–18 years — 275,000 soums,
• for the second child — 165,000 soums,
• for each subsequent child after the third — 110,000 soums.

In addition, starting from July 1, the basic amount for calculating pensions will be set at 471,000 soums.

Starting from August 1:
• Minimum wage (MROT) — 1,271,000 soums,
• BHM — 412,000 soums will be updated.

The decree also anticipates an increase in student scholarships. Although specific figures have not been provided, their growth will be proportional to other payments.
