The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set new values for foreign currencies against the soum, effective from July 13, 2026. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to this information, an upward trend in the rates of major international currencies is observed, indicating a slight decrease in the value of our national currency. Specifically, the US dollar increased by 63 soums 77 tiyins compared to the previous day's indicator, and one dollar was set at 12,075 soums 98 tiyins.
The rate of the euro, the European currency, also trended upwards, rising by 39 soums 74 tiyins. Now, the official value of one euro is equal to 13,731 soums 16 tiyins.
The British pound sterling increased significantly, by 94 soums 04 tiyins, and was recorded at 16,111 soums 98 tiyins. It is stated that these changes are related to external economic factors and fluctuations in the international financial market.
Additionally, an increase was observed in the rates of other foreign currencies. The Japanese yen rose by 0.08 soums, amounting to 73 soums 97 tiyins.
The Swiss franc increased by 31 soums 33 tiyins, and its new value became 14,886 soums 86 tiyins. The Chinese yuan rose by 2 soums 63 tiyins, stopping at the level of 1,768 soums 09 tiyins.
The Central Bank has set these exchange rates for banking operations, accounting and statistical reporting, as well as for calculating customs and other mandatory payments. Such changes in the currency market are of significant importance for entrepreneurs and the population.
The Central Bank constantly monitors the situation in the international market in order to regulate the monetary policy in the country and ensure the stability of the national currency. It should be noted that these official rates may differ from the selling and buying prices set by commercial banks.
