Today, on July 21, the Tashkent city Emergency Situations Department received a report about the smell of sulfur appearing on Uzumbog Street in the Olmazor district. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This information quickly spread on social media. Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan in radiation, chemical, and medical-biological protection were called to the scene.
According to preliminary information, harmful substances spread into the air due to a leak of hydrogen peroxide from a container in the warehouse. Currently, rescuers are continuing their work to eliminate the consequences.
