The Fergana region customs department's anti-smuggling unit, in cooperation with representatives from the State Security Service and the National Guard, conducted a special operation. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During the operation, a Damas model vehicle that had been under surveillance in the city of Qo‘qon was stopped and inspected. It was found that 900 units of the holiday pyrotechnic product named "7 SHOTS" were being transported, and they were seized.
Additionally, 2800 more pyrotechnic items were discovered at the house where these products were brought. All identified pyrotechnic items were confiscated as evidence.
The total value of these items amounted to 1 billion 35 million soums. Preliminary investigative actions are being carried out regarding the case.
These measures are aimed at preventing smuggling and the distribution of illegal pyrotechnics. Organizations are continuously focusing on ensuring safety and preventing violations of the law through mutual cooperation.
