According to the press service of the Department of Criminal Affairs, individuals suspected of illegally selling potent drugs have been arrested. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During a special rapid operation conducted in collaboration with the Department staff and internal affairs officers in the Jalolquduq district, one citizen was apprehended. He sold 2 units of the drug "Tropicamide" and 10 units of "Regapen" for a total of 1.3 million soums to a customer.
Additionally, in the Kasbi district of Kashkadarya region, a person attempting to sell 70 units of the potent drug "Pregabalin PG-150" for 900 thousand soums was arrested. In the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent city, an individual selling 36 units of "Pregabalin Capsules" and 1 unit of "Zardeks" was also apprehended.
The head of the "S.K." pharmacy located in the Davlatobod district of Namangan region was also arrested for illegal drug trafficking. He was caught selling 61 units of the drug "Omnadren 250" for 3.1 million soums.
Criminal cases have been initiated based on the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan related to the illegal production, distribution, advertising, and other illegal circulation of potent substances or toxic materials in all these cases. These measures were implemented to prevent illegal drug trafficking and protect the health of citizens.
