In Tashkent city, traffic restrictions are planned for a specific section of Shota Rustaveli Street for three weeks. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The capital's Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure Development announced this. From August 2, 2025, to August 25, traffic for vehicles will be temporarily restricted in the area starting from the intersection near the Grand Mir hotel to Babur Street.
These measures are related to reconstruction work in the Yakkasaray district. Therefore, the routes of several bus lines will be changed.
In particular, routes 18, 38, 58, and 67 will operate through Shahrisabz, Mirabad, Nukus, Babur, and Rustaveli streets. Routes 57, 81, and 98 will pass through Mirabad, Yusuf Khos Khoja, and Babur streets.
Additionally, route 127 will operate in the direction of Nukus and Mukimi streets. The transport department warns residents that there may be traffic congestion, delays in bus operations, and increased travel times.
Therefore, citizens are advised to plan their journeys in advance and take into account the temporary changes.
