
According to the press service of the Supreme Court, a sentence was pronounced for a person who stole a bicycle. This was reported by Upl.uz.
23-year-old A.X. had been previously convicted and, after serving his sentence, did not learn from his mistakes and committed several more crimes.
On May 27, at approximately 16:30, he entered an apartment building located on Afrosiyob Street in the Mirabad district and stole a bicycle worth 7,622,808 soums. That same night, around midnight, he stole a bicycle worth 2,000,000 soums that had been left in front of an apartment building on Babur Street in the Yakkasaray district.
On May 28, he stole two more bicycles worth 1,900,000 soums left on Safdosh Street and 2,400,000 soums left on Kichik Beshyoqoch Street. Additionally, on the night of May 28 to 29, he stole another bicycle on Charchqomol Street in the Chilonzor district.
On May 30, he stole a bicycle worth 1,000,000 soums from the home of a citizen residing on Shota Rustaveli Street, and on June 1, he stole another bicycle from the same street for 1,500,000 soums. His last crime occurred on June 3 when he entered an apartment building on Nukus Street and stole a bicycle worth 1,500,000 soums.
During the trial, A.X. confessed to all the crimes.
He sold the stolen bicycles to unknown individuals. The court sentenced him to five years and one month of imprisonment.
