A paid parking lot with more than 200 thousand spaces will be established in Tashkent
Significant changes are being made to the parking system in Tashkent city. The project, which aims to establish more than 200 thousand paid parking spaces, is one of the important efforts being implemented by the city administration. The goals behind this step are to further improve the city's transport system, reduce traffic congestion, and increase the speed of movement.

What kind of paid parking lots will be created?

The system for introducing paid parking lots will be launched in the first phase as a pilot in the Mirobod and Yakkasaroy districts of Tashkent. Starting from July of this year, a payment system will be implemented in the existing parking lots in these districts. This process will provide the population with high-quality and easy payment options.

Rates and payment system

The rates are divided into 4 zones, ensuring that each payment is set according to demand in different locations. The rates are set from 5,000 to 12,000 soums per hour, with a maximum price of up to 30,000 soums. Payments will be made through a mobile application, which will create more convenience for drivers and allow them to make payments without unnecessary hassle.

Transport reform: news and goals

The Tashkent city administration aims to reduce congestion by 18% through paid parking lots. As a result, news about parking lots will help improve the city's internal transport system. In particular, it is expected to increase the speed of movement and improve order on the roads. Additionally, special tablets and video surveillance cameras will be installed to monitor payments.

Future accountability measures

Starting from 2026, administrative liability may be introduced for drivers who do not make payments. This, in turn, will encourage the population to make payments accurately and on time.

The introduction of paid parking lots is an important step in reforming the transport system of Tashkent city and regulating traffic. This project will not only help reduce congestion in the city center but also improve the situation on the surrounding small roads. All of this is aimed at facilitating the daily lives of the city's residents.
