Control measures were carried out by the staff of the Uzenergoinspeksiya department in Samarkand region. During the events, the activities of individual entrepreneur A.D. operating in Bulungur district were inspected.
As a result of the inspection, it was found that the entrepreneur had illegally connected to the public network without signing a contract with the electricity supply organization for the necessary electrical equipment in his activities. As a result of this violation, the electricity supply organization suffered a total damage of 3 billion 261 million soums.
Currently, preliminary investigative actions are being conducted by law enforcement agencies. The individual entrepreneur may face a penalty of up to 15 years of imprisonment for theft under part 4 of Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This case is being closely monitored to ensure legality and prevent illegal use of electricity.
