The committee continuously monitors the implementation of the law on advertising of the Republic of Uzbekistan on social networks and internet resources. As a result of the monitoring, cases were identified where bloggers with hundreds of thousands of subscribers promoted advertisements for betting offices prohibited by law.
This advertising often does not appear directly but is presented in a natural style. Based on this, videos containing advertisements for the "***bet" betting office and footage promoting gambling games were identified from bloggers Hakimov A.F.
(amirxon_uzbek) and Ilyosov D.M. (donik_krash).
Administrative documents have been formalized regarding their actions, and they have been sent to court for a legal decision. As noted by the committee representatives, the law on advertising of the Republic of Uzbekistan strictly prohibits any gambling advertisements, and appropriate measures will be taken against such violations.
