
Citizens of Uzbekistan who were evading criminal responsibility and hiding abroad have been apprehended, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Interpol bureau in Tashkent, in cooperation with their colleagues in Ankara and the United States, conducted rapid search operations. As a result of these operations, four wanted criminals were detained.
Two of them were caught in Turkey, and two in the United States. These individuals are accused of various crimes, including fraud and deliberate tax evasion.
After the necessary documents were prepared, the wanted citizens were brought from New York and Istanbul to Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent. In the coming days, investigative actions regarding their criminal cases will resume.
After the investigation is completed, the case will be submitted to the court for lawful resolution. All legal requirements will be strictly observed during these processes, and justice will be ensured.
