Employees of the State Security Service uncovered a crime involving the head of the preschool and school education department and two private kindergarten directors in one district of Namangan region, resulting in the arrest of three women. This was reported by Upl.uz.
They agreed to receive a bribe of 2500 US dollars for securing a position as the head of the department in one of the state kindergartens for another citizen. During operational activities, all participants were detained.
Initially, 2500 dollars were given to the director of one of the private kindergartens, who then handed over part of the money to the director of the second kindergarten. Later, 1000 dollars were delivered to a senior official of the preschool and school education department.
A criminal case was initiated under the articles on fraud and bribery of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident. The accused may face imprisonment for up to eight years.
