The press service of the Road Traffic Safety Department of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate reported this. According to the information, the incident took place on September 2 at around 09:30 in the Sergeli neighborhood, Quyichirchiq district.
The person driving the Malibu car is a young man born in 2007, who is not a school student and does not have a driver's license. The car belongs to his brother.
While starting to move, the driver hit a pedestrian, an 11th-grade student of school No. 44, born in 2008. Fortunately, the pedestrian did not sustain serious injuries.
The car was taken to the impound lot. An investigation is being conducted by the internal affairs department of Quyichirchiq district regarding the incident.
Additionally, earlier information circulated on social networks claiming that the driver deliberately hit the school student, insulted him afterward, and fled the scene. An official investigation into this matter is currently ongoing.
