
Citizens of Uzbekistan wanted by the authorities were found and brought to Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Interpol national central bureaus of Tashkent and Ankara jointly conducted rapid search operations aimed at identifying individuals wanted by Interpol. As a result, six persons suspected of human trafficking, large-scale fraud, and other serious crimes were detained.
The detained individuals were hiding in Turkey to avoid criminal liability, but they were found and arrested. They were brought to Tashkent accompanied by officers from Ankara Interpol and the Turkish Gendarmerie.
Upon arrival in Tashkent, all individuals were handed over to the Interpol bureau and internal affairs officers in Tashkent. Investigative actions regarding these individuals will resume in the coming days.
Based on the investigation results, an indictment will be prepared and sent to court along with all case materials.
