
Veolia Energy Tashkent, the company managing the central hot water supply system of Tashkent city, has announced the schedule for planned maintenance works to be carried out in September and October 2024. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During these preventive measures, the hot water supply will be temporarily stopped in residential buildings connected to the central heating system. At each stage, the water supply interruption will last for five days.
According to the company's official statement, these measures are very important for preparing the city's hot water and heating infrastructure for the upcoming winter season. The diagnostics and necessary repairs aim to ensure the system operates reliably and without malfunctions during the winter load period.
The management of Veolia Energy Tashkent has asked the capital's residents and organizations to approach the temporary inconveniences with patience. The maintenance works and temporary hot water supply interruptions will be carried out in the following stages: From September 8 to 12, water outages will be observed in Mirzo Ulugbek, Temur Malik, Avaykhon, Mingbuloq streets, as well as in the Mirishkor, Shukura Burxonova, Razzok Hamroyev, Salom, Durmon Yo‘li, and Feruza areas.
Additionally, temporary stoppages will occur in the Karasu-1,2,3,4,6, Buz-2, and Feruza neighborhoods, Zarqarlik, Lutfi, Bog‘iston, Katartal, Guliston, Farhod streets, and several other areas. From September 15 to 19, water supply will be stopped in Qorasuv, Besharyk, Birlashgan, Elbek, Asalobod, Quruvchilar, Uysuzlar, Parkent, Chulpon, Alimkent streets, and the Akhangaran highway areas.
The Tuzel, Uysuzlar, Asalobod neighborhoods and Aviagorodok towns will also experience temporary service interruptions in the same manner. Moreover, many streets and neighborhoods in the city center and its surroundings will be included in this process.
From September 22 to 26, preventive works will be carried out in Mustaqillik Avenue, Mirzo Ulugbek, Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li, Qari Niyoziy, Sayram, Tamara Khanim, Akkurgan, Osiyo, Lev Tolstoy streets, and surrounding areas. During this period, hot water supply will be temporarily interrupted in Yalangach, Tashselmash, Mavlono Riyoziy, Buz-1 neighborhoods, and other areas.
From September 29 to October 3, water supply will be stopped in Amir Temur and Mustaqillik avenues, Ahmad Donish, Sharofa Rashidov, Yahyo Gulyamov streets, Shahrisabz, Shastri, Yangishahar, Dehqonobod areas, and many other locations. At the same time, Beltepa, Ibn Sino, Jararyk, Beshqurghan, Olimpiya neighborhoods, and student campuses will also be temporarily without hot water.
From October 6 to 10, similar maintenance works will be carried out in Munis, Sarikul, Eski Sarikul, Yangizamon, Yangi Kuyluk, Abdurauf Fitrat, Farg‘ona Yo‘li, and Kuyluk neighborhoods. Many streets and neighborhoods in the Sergeli district will also experience temporary hot water supply interruptions.
The central hot water supply system of Tashkent is considered one of the largest systems in Central Asia. Its total length exceeds 2000 kilometers, which is equivalent to the straight-line distance from Tashkent to Istanbul.
Therefore, the maintenance works carried out within the scheduled periods are necessary to ensure the reliable operation of the city's hot water and heating system. Residents are asked to understand the temporary inconveniences.
