The conflict between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in Tashkent region ended with the burning of a baby. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman Surayyo Rahmonova.
According to the information, on January 27, a conflict arose between X.M. (a woman born in 1999) living in Tashkent district of Tashkent region and her mother-in-law M.X. (born in 1966). During the altercation, the mother-in-law threw a thermos containing hot water at the daughter-in-law. As a result, the legs and arms of the 23-day-old baby that the daughter-in-law was holding were burned. It was reported that the child received necessary medical treatment.
Following the incident, a pre-investigation check has been initiated by the Tashkent district police department.
In addition, to prevent further conflicts, a protection order has been issued to the daughter-in-law for one month, and the restrictions placed on family members have been explained.
