A new medal has been established for the participants of World War II

The "80th Anniversary of Victory in the Second World War" commemorative jubilee medal has been established.

Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have been awarded the medals "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and "For the Victory over Japan," as well as those who have been awarded other orders and medals for combat services during the war or hold a participant certificate of the war or a certificate of a veteran of the Patriotic War, will be awarded the jubilee medal.

Those equated with war participants, as well as labor veterans from the rear during the years of the Second World War, including those who have received medals for "Compassionate Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945," "Courage in Labor," and "For Exemplary Service in Labor," or who have a certificate confirming their position in the Armed Forces during the war years regarding the free recruitment of civilians will also be awarded.
