The roof of the football field in Jizzakh collapsed

The roof of the artificial turf stadium built in the area of school No. 48 in the "Mustaqillik" neighborhood of the Baxmal district of Jizzakh region has collapsed.

According to the information provided by the Jizzakh regional administration to the "Unified Customer Service" LLC, this facility was constructed under the order of this unitary enterprise and contracted by "Suvinshoot Qurilish Loyiha" LLC, with a project contract value of 1 billion 190 million soums.

According to the initial study conducted by the unitary enterprise, the collapse of the stadium roof was caused by strong winds and heavy snowfall. As a result, the roof of the sports field was damaged, meaning it collapsed.

No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the incident. Investigations have begun by the customer and contracting organizations regarding the situation.

The contracting organization stated that restoration work will be carried out according to the project and the stadium will be restored and put into operation in the near future.
