In more than 1700 mosques in Uzbekistan, the Quran is recited during the Khatm.

According to the information provided by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, it has been announced that the blessed month of Ramadan in Uzbekistan will begin on March 1, 2025.
In connection with this, from February 28, the Tarawih prayers will start in more than 2100 mosques in Uzbekistan, and the complete Khatm of the Qur'an will begin in more than 1740 of them.
The Muslim Board has reported that nearly 3,500 Qur'an reciters have been engaged for this purpose. The Tarawih prayers will also begin today at 20:30 in 126 mosques in Tashkent city.
Additionally, the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs announced that starting from February 28, certain roads near mosques will be closed during the time of Tarawih prayers — from 18:00 to 24:00.
Previously, the department had announced the start times for Tarawih prayers in the regions. According to this:

- In Tashkent region – 20:30
- In Tashkent city – 20:30
- In Syrdarya – 20:30
- In Jizzakh – 20:30
- In Samarkand – 20:30
- In Kashkadarya – 20:40
- In Surkhandarya – 20:40
- In Navoi – 20:40
- In Bukhara – 20:40
- In Khorezm – 21:00
- In the Republic of Karakalpakstan – at 21:10, the Tarawih prayer will start after the Isha prayer.
Moreover, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan has also announced the Ramadan calendar for 2025.
