A person committed suicide during a fire that occurred in Tashkent (video)

On March 1, in the city of Tashkent, in the Mirzo Ulugbek district, a gas explosion occurred in an apartment in one of the multi-story buildings located in the Qorasuv 4 neighborhood.

According to the Tashkent city fire department, fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene and determined that a fire had occurred due to a gas explosion in an apartment on the 9th floor of a 9-story building.

The fire was extinguished, and 6 citizens were rescued and handed over to the ambulance service. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the fire in the building where the incident occurred.

According to the fire department, a citizen attempted to commit suicide by igniting a gas stove in the kitchen of the apartment where the fire occurred. After the gas exploded and the fire broke out, he jumped from the 9th floor and perished.
