According to the press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, cases of fraud in land sales have been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During a special operation conducted in cooperation with the employees of the Uchtepa district department and law enforcement agencies, two citizens were detained. They had received an advance payment of 90 thousand US dollars.
They promised to assist in selling a 4-hectare land plot worth 420 thousand dollars in the Bo‘ka district of Tashkent region and in formalizing documents for housing construction. To implement the plan, they sought help from their high-ranking acquaintances.
A criminal case has been initiated under the articles of "Fraud" and "Aiding Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this case. This situation indicates the need to strengthen accountability before the law.
The relevant authorities continue to fight against crime.
