The press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported that the illegal trafficking of potent drugs has been halted. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Department in the Chilonzor and Sergeli districts detained the sellers of two pharmacies operating in these areas and conducted special rapid operations. In particular, the seller of the “C.Ph.” LLC pharmacy was caught trying to illegally sell 50 units of the potent drug “Omnadren 250”.
Additionally, the seller of the “V.H.” LLC pharmacy was also detained while attempting to illegally sell 55 units of the same type of drug. The total value of these illegal sales amounted to 5.1 million soums.
In this way, in the city of Jizzakh, the pharmacist of the “X.S.” LLC pharmacy located in the “Sayhon” neighborhood of Samarkand region was also caught while trying to sell 100 units of the potent drug “Omnadren 250” for 6.5 million soums without a doctor's prescription. In all cases, criminal cases were initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding "the production, purchase, storage, transportation, or sale of drugs that raise doubts about their quality or are counterfeit, as well as the violation of the procedure for retail sale of drugs containing potent substances outside pharmacies and their branches."
